Can I rent or buy an email list to use with the ExcerpoŽ Mail service?
No. ExcerpoŽ Mail can only be used with email lists for which you have permission to communicate to. Sending of SPAM or to email lists non-permission based lists is a violation of the ExcerpoŽ Mail EULA.
What happens to my list after I upload it in to ExcerpoŽ Mail?
It will reside in your ExcerpoŽ Mail account, safely stored behind a secure firewall, until you remove your list. Your list will never be sold, shared or rented.
What if I don't have an email list?
No Problem. It's time to get started! There are several ways you can collect email addresses. ExcerpoŽ Mail provides a list building tool in the form of a sign up box to be put on your website. Your site visitors can sign up for your email list and their addresses are automatically imported in to your ExcerpoŽ Mail account. You have access to this tool even in the free trial.
Will AIS Media sell, rent or share my lists or database?
No. We pride ourselves in keeping customer contact data secure and so that there is no sharing of data across accounts by AIS Media. Even in cases where clients might have the same customer's email, this fact would not be shared with either client.
Additionally, AIS Media will at no time collect emails from ExcerpoŽ Mail user's lists for purposes of selling, renting or distributing the list(s).

Pricing
Do I have to give a credit card to take advantage of the free trial?
No credit card is required when signing up for the free trial.
How does pricing work?
ExcerpoŽ Mail offers two payment options for your convenience. You can pay for the service monthly or prepay in advance (six months or annually) for an additional discount. Your fee is determined by the maximum number of unique email addresses you had in your account for a billing period.

What does ExcerpoŽ Mail do to make sure my emails get delivered?
AIS Media has ongoing dialog with many of the leading ISPs to ensure that its server remains white-listed and that email distributed via ExcerpoŽ Mail reaches isn't blocked. ExcerpoŽ Mail has dedicated resources on the team to make sure that we do everything possible to make sure that your email gets delivered successfully.
Can ExcerpoŽ Mail help me comply with CAN-SPAM?
Yes. ExcerpoŽ Mail has outlined all the requirements of CAN-SPAM and how our software helps you stay compliant here.
Does ExcerpoŽ Mail allow clients to send non-permission-based emails?
No. All emails sent through the ExcerpoŽ Mail system must have permission from the recipient. If you have questions about your list, or need advice on how to gain permission from your existing list members, please contact us.
What should I expect for an open rate for my campaign?
For a double-opt in list you may expect open rates of between 15%-40%. You may see low open rates for a couple of reasons. Blocked images and preview panes mean that some emails are "viewed" but not counted as "opens." Additionally, some anti-virus and SPAM software removes the code used to track image views.

Getting Started
What do I have to do to set up ExcerpoŽ Mail?
Getting started is really very easy. Signing up for a free trial will only take a minute. Once you have been logged in to your account, you will want to do the following:
- Create your initial campaign
- Import your contact list
- Send a test campaign
Is there a free trial available?
Yes. You may use ExcerpoŽ Mail free for 60 days, or until your list grows to 50 subscribers, whichever comes first. During that trial you may send campaigns, add subscribers and view reports at no charge. After 60 days, or when your subscriber list grows beyond 50, you'll be provided the opportunity to upgrade your account to a paid account.
